"To be or not to be; that is the question."
- William Shakespeare
Aaron Doerner is a 13-year-old student at Hurricane Middle School in Hurricane, West Virginia, where he has grown up his entire life. Introduced to mountain biking at the young age of 4 by his dad, who is an avid rider, Aaron quickly developed a passion for the sport.
One of his proudest achievements is securing first place in his very first NICA race. Aaron lives with his mom, dad, twin sister, and little sister, and the family has no pets.
Outside of trails, Aaron enjoys archery, mountain biking, playing outdoor games, football, basketball, and more. He is eager to join the MMTA Junior Board to contribute as a member. As a Junior Board member, he hopes to help host fun events at Meeks and provide ideas to support the board.
For Aaron, trails have improved his life primarily by making him better at mountain biking. His favorite trail activity is biking, and he particularly loves Lindy Land for its jumps, as well as Whites Wheel and Wheel Billy's. If he could do only one thing on the trails forever, it would be biking because it's fun.
Aaron draws inspiration from his favorite quote: “To be or not to be; that is the question” by William Shakespeare.
